Family/Open Swim

  • These Rules apply to Open/Family Swim, Homeschool Program, or any free swim programs in our pools.
  • First come, first serve. Max of 30 people in the pool at once. Once the pool hits 30 people, a waiting line will be formed by the Deck Supervisor.
  • Available for all types of memberships.
  •  Community Members are allowed to attend WITH a member. $10 per day guest pass for each community member. No more than 2 community members per member can attend per session.
  • All children under the age of 12 must always have a parent/guardian in the pool within arm’s reach.
  • All children under the age of 14 must take a swim test and wear an appropriate wrist band during swim times (Red, Purple, Green).  The result of the swim test will be recorded for future visits.
  • Red Band MUST wear a lifejacket and stay in the shallow end of the Pool the entire time.
  • Purple Band Must stay in the shallow end of the pool but do not require a lifejacket.
  • Green Band can swim in the deep and shallow ends of the pool.
  • Any refusal to take a swim test will result in not being able to use the pool. SWIM TESTS ARE MANDATORY.
  • Please Note: If the lifeguard or Deck Supervisor feels a child is not wearing the appropriate band, the child will be required to retake the swim test.
  • ALL participants must wear a bathing suit.  Any swimmer with shoulder length hair or longer must tie it back or wear a swimming cap.
  • Pool toys that are acceptable: Pool Noodles, Diving Rings, Dolls, and Squeezy Toys. No large flotation toys. No Mermaid fins, snorkels, etc. This is at the discretion of the lifeguard or Deck Supervisor.
  • No pushing, horseplay, Jumping into the pool or throwing children into the pool or in the pool.
